Yesterday I finally had the time to paint this flower pot that I have been meaning to do for a very long time. I bought a cactus a very long time ago and now I can put it in a proper pot.
I went to Pinterest to find a design to paint on it and copied this one painted on a canvas.
This is how it turned out:
Then I potted my cactus
And put it in my window sill
And watered it, along with my other plants.
The sad news is that my bonsai is pretty much dead. For a while it was growing really well, but I trimmed it a little too much, and probably not correctly, so it's dying. I think there is still some life left in it, so I'm not giving up yet. It usually does well in winter, so I'm going to try.
Here are some pictures of how it looked in the good ole days.
As for this cactus: I tried re-potting it today because I realized that it has not been in the right soil, therefore it has not been keeping water like it should.
But the poor thing split in half, so I had to throw it away.
So these are my plants! I'm hoping that I can remember to water them and that they will live for a while longer.
Gardening is obviously not my thing, but I'm trying.
xoxo
